熔凝硅纤和熔凝硅光子晶体光纤色度色散的特性研究

本文基于光子晶体光纤可以用某一具有一定的相对折射率差和纤芯直径的阶跃折射率光纤表示的思想,通过引入空气孔填充系数f的新概念,提出一种新的阶跃有效折射率模型。由此计算并模拟出熔凝硅纤及熔凝硅光子晶体光纤中色度色散随纤芯直径分布的高精度三维图形,同时定义了零色散平坦纤芯直径D0和零色散波长平坦纤芯直径Df 两个重要参数。深入详细的研究表明,D0和Df为研制、生产高精度色散相关光子晶体光纤提供了有重要参考价值的理论依据。
After producing the actual 3-D profile of Chromatic Dispersion (CD) as a function of fiber core diameter (D) in PCFs with same air filling fraction in their cladding region, it can be found that as increasing when the D = D0, the first Zero Dispersion Wavelength (ZDW) will be found, and at the nearby of the D0 between a pair of ZDWs the nearly zero ultra flattened dispersion is the best. Furthermore, for the first time, we also found the flattened property of ZDWs in the PCFs from the actual profiles. So it can be used to extremely improve the accuracy of ZDW of PCF.
