his paper describes a design methodology of balanced RF power amplifier with working frequency at 500MHz . It also introduces the principles and methods of RF power amplifier matching network using the Smith Chart. Meanwhile , Fujitsu FLL120MK High Power GaAs FET as an example , utilizing the computer-aided software to design the input matching network and output matching network . A 3dB branch line Hybrid Coupler of ANAREN has been introduced , and used to design the balanced amplifier , then the related theoretical analysis was given .The Hybrid coupler was employed to split and combine the signal , at the same time , many factors affect the synthesis efficiency was discussed by computational analysis.Finally , combined with the actual design needs of the project , the balanced amplifier circuit schematic and PCB was given .
