his paper introduces hardware design and software programming of communication control between single chip and wireless module ETCOM W380 produced by ETCOM company. It is a wireless remote monitor and control system base on SMS of GSM. The system consists of a CCD camera, a wireless 3G module (ETCOM W380 module produced by ETCOM company) and a monitor and control unit taking single-chip microcomputer (W78E58B) as the core. Using the AT commands, the monitor and control unit can communicate with the 3G module. Using 3G module ETCOM W380. It controls Related Equipment by SMS, at the same time, controller can change and make out the working condition of equipments by SMS.
