本文研究了正交频分复用(OFDM)系统中载波同步和符号定时同步问题,针对OFDM系统传输中的载频误差和符号定时误差,提出了联合最大似然估计算法,并通过该算法得出收发两端载波频偏和符号起始位置在抽样点考察范围内的估计值。通过在开源软件无线电(GNURadio)平台上编写程序来搭建OFDM系统,在接收端采用该算法作为同步算法来改善原有系统的性能,并且在实际环境中运行该程序,证明该算法确实能够很好的对OFDM系统中收发两端的载波频偏和符号定时误差进行估计,能够在一定程度上改善系统的性能。

In this paper, we study the synchronization for carrier-frequency and symbol-time in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Then we present the joint maximum- likelihood (ML) estimator for the carrier-frequency and symbol-time offset to obtain the difference between the transmitter and receiver oscillators and the start of the symbol within the observed block of samples. At last, we write programmes on the platform of GNURadio, the estimator contained in the receiver to improve the performance, and run the programmes in real situations. The result of the programmes confirms that the estimator can estimate the difference between the transmitter and receiver oscillators and symbol-time, which means that the estimator can do impove the performance of the system.
