许多消费类数码相机获得彩色图像,是通过使用一个单传感器和一个彩色滤波阵列(CFA)来实现的。通过该阵列,传感器的每一个像素只记录一种颜色分量,然后对获取的数据进行彩色插值得到全彩色图像。本文首先介绍Bayer模式CFA和几种先压缩后内插的图像压缩方法,在借鉴前人研究的基础上,提出并实现了基于9/7双正交小波变换SPIHT编码和全相位内插的Bayer模式彩色图像压缩算法。仿真实验结果表明,本文算法更适合对Bayer模式图像进行压缩。

Many consumer digital color cameras use a single light sensitive sensor and a color filter array (CFA) with each pixel element recording intensity information of one color component. The captured data is then interpolated into a full color image. Bayer patterned CFA and a few kinds of compression-first interpolation-later approaches were introduced. On the basis of previous studies, Bayer patterned color image compression algorithm based on 9/7 biorthogonal wavelet transform and all phase interpolation was proposed and realized. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is suitable for Bayer image compression.
