LTE-A异构网的能效仿真研究

Simulation Research on the Energy Efficiency of Heterogeneous LTE-Advanced Networks

随着无线通信的发展,传统同构网络的能耗问题日益受到关注。通过部署低功率Pico节点能在保证系统容量的同时有效降低系统能耗。本文从能量效率的角度研究了异构网地部署和引入基于ABS(Almost Blanked Sub-frame)的增强型小区间干扰协调(eICIC)机制对的系统性能地提升。首先通过建立基站能耗模型,分析系统容量,得出性能评估准则。在此基础上搭建了系统级仿真平台,对不同异构网部署方式和不同eICIC配置方式对系统性能的影响进行了仿真研究。最后仿真结果表明,选择合理的异构网部署方式和eICIC配置方式能在保证用户QoS的同时,显著提升系统能效。

With the rapid growth of mobile communication industry, increasingly importance has been attached to the associated energy consumption issue of the radio access network.Heterogeneous networks (HetNets) are expected to reduce the energy consumption and maintain the system capacity with deploying dense low power Pico nodes. This paper investigate the energy efficiency gains of HetNets with introducing ABS-based eICIC scheme. First, based on the power consumption models, we analyize the system capacity and give the performance metric. A HetNets system-level simulation platform is built and we evaluate the effect of the different deployment of HetNets and eICIC configurations. The results shows that the system energy efficiency is significantly improved and simultaneously the users` QoS is maintained with proper deployment and eICIC configuration.
