基于MM算法的稀疏无线信道估计
Sparse Wireless Channel Estimation Based on MM algorithm
正交频分复用技术(OFDM)作为现代无线通信中的关键技术之一,其性能受到载波间干扰(ICI)的巨大影响,为了消除ICI,准确的信道冲激响应(CIR)估计至关重要。本文提出了一种OFDM系统下的无线信道估计方法。利用无线信道在时延-多普勒频移域的固有稀疏性,得到OFDM系统中无线信道的稀疏表达。使用基于Majorization-Minimization (MM)算法的稀疏信号恢复方法对这一稀疏表达进行估计,进而估计出原信道。所提出的基于MM算法的稀疏无线信道估计方法,加强了对无线信道稀疏性的约束,相较于传统的稀疏无线信道估计算法有更好的性能。仿真实验表明,所提出的方法可以用更少的导频开销,取得更准确的OFDM系统中无线信道的估计结果。
Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a key technique of modern wireless communication system. The performance of OFDM is greatly impacted by the Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI). To eliminate the impact caused by ICI, estimation of Channel Impulse Response (CIR) is crucial. In this paper, a Majorization-Minimization (MM)algorithm based channel estimation method for OFDM system is proposed. By exploiting the intrinsic sparsity of wireless channel in delay-Doppler shift domain, sparse representation of wireless channel for OFDM system is obtained. MM algorithm based sparse signal recovery method is used to estimate this sparse representation. Estimation of original wireless channel is further obtained. Compared with conventional method, the proposed MM-based sparse channel estimation method promotes stronger sparsity to improve performance of wireless channel estimation. The simulation results show that the proposed method yields more accurate wireless channel estimation for OFDM system with smaller pilots overhead.
