边缘检测在多媒体图像领域应用非常广泛。本文介绍利用Sobel边缘检测算子实现电视节目中字幕片段的检测，实验结果表明检测效果良好。
Edge detection is widely used in the area of image. This paper introduces the caption detection from TV Programs by sobel operator of edge detection, and the experiment result shows that the caption detection works well.
