高斯背景光束上的光怪波产生的研究
Optical rogue waves generated on Gaussian background beam
具有变系数的非线性梯度光波导中的光怪波特性在本文中进行了研究。与之前的光怪波的研究主要是在平面波上相比,本文给出了一个高斯背景光束上的光怪波的精确解。通过此精确解可得到,怪波的特性(高的峰值以及时空局域性)在高斯光束上都很好的保持了。甚至是,高斯背景光束的宽度要稍小于光怪波的尺寸。这些结果可以刺激实验上光怪波在有限宽背景光束(脉冲)上的研究。
Optical rogue waves in a nonlinear graded-index waveguidewith variable coefficients are studied. An exact rogue wave solution on Gaussianbackground beam is presented, in contrast to the previous studies about rogue waves on plane wave background. It is shown that the characteristics of rogue wavesare maintained on Gaussianbackground beam, even that the beam's width is a bit smaller than the rogue waves scale.These results may raise the possibility of relatedexperiments and potential applications in nonlinear optics.
