一种基于BT协议的流媒体视频点播系统的服务器端改进方案

BitTorrent protocol prescribes that the peers which uploaded file blocks are selected by server in a manner of random. The number of peers is 50 in default. It brings long distance transfer of file blocks、network traffic which result from crossing ISP and the network traffic jam, etc. Currently, most optimization of BitTorrent system is focusing on the selection of file blocks in BT client, while the issue of peer management in BT tracker doesn't get considerable attention. After researching BitTorrent protocol and P2P technology, a project of peer management has been put forward. The project could used in BT tracker and help to resolve the problem of crossing ISP network traffic and relieve the network traffic jam.
