I C66x系列DSP多核通信机制的研究及实现

MS320C66x DSP是TI公司最新推出的一款高性能多核数字信号处理器,完善的底层通信机制是对该系列芯片进行系统开发的基础。相对于传统的核间通信机制,使用SYS/BIOS IPC使核间通信更为便捷。与此同时,Hyperlink提供了高速率低时延的点对点片间通信的接口,其速度可高达50GBaud。基于上述研究,针对C66x系列DSP本文给出了一套完整的底层通信方案的设计,并在开发板上进行了实现。

exas Instruments recently brings out a high-performance TMS320C66x digital signal processor. For further application development of C66x series DSP, a fundamental inter-processor communication method must be established. Compared with the traditional core-to-core communicaiton, SYS/BIOS IPC is powerful but easy-to-use. Furthermore, HyperLink provides a high-speed and low-latency communication interface with a speed up to 50GBaud between two devices. Based on the above research, this paper introduces a design of inter-processor communication and it can run successfully on the demoboard.
