中国老年乳腺癌治疗专家共识(2018)

Elderly(aged)70 years) patients with breast cancer are seldom included in clinical trials.On the other handelderly patients are often involved in complicated comorbidities. That gave rise to great controversies over the management of elderly cases with breast cancer. Specialists of the breast cancer committee ofChinese Geriatric Oncology Society(CGOS) created the principles of reaching consensus on key issues and reserving differences in controversial issues so as to provide evidence-based recommendations for the treatment of breast cancer in elderly individuals. The recommendations include local and adjuvant systematic treatments for primary breast carcinoma in elder individualsneoadjuvant therapyand treatment approaches for recurrent elderly patients.
