Humping Bead Morphology and Critical Welding Speed in High-Speed MAG Welding
开展了高速MAG焊接工艺试验,根据焊缝成形出现的驼峰焊道,获得相应的临界焊速。比较了不同焊速和同一焊速、不同焊接电流时驼峰焊道中相邻“波峰”的间距,确定了驼峰焊道的变化规律及产生趋势。由同一驼峰焊道“波峰”和“谷底”处的横断面照片进一步明确了驼峰焊道的形貌特点。研究了焊接电流、焊接电压、保护气体成分等工艺参数对MAG焊临界焊接速度的影响。
High-speed MAG welding experiments were conducted, the corresponding critical welding speed was obtained through observing the humping beads of weld formation. The spacing of adjacent humps under different welding velocities and same welding velocity but different welding currents was compared. The changing regularity and the generating tendency of humping bead are determined. the morphology characteristics of the humping bead were further analyzed based on the transverse section photos of the “hump” and the “ valley” in a humping bead. The effects of the parameters including welding current, welding voltage and the compositions of shielding gases on the critical welding speed of MAG welding were investigated.
