三维超声图像引导肉毒素注射系统

肌肉痉挛是脑卒中、脑损伤患者的常见并发症之一,不当的治疗会延缓患者的康复效果。肉毒素是一种临床常用治疗肌肉痉挛药物,准确注射到目标肌肉是有效治疗的前提。本文提出一种三维超声图像引导系统用于肉毒素注射。该系统使用传统二维超声构建自由臂三维超声,并通过肌肉的图像可视化、光学定位等手段引导穿刺针到达目标肌肉。动物实验验证了该方法的精度和有效性。结果显示该系统能准确引导穿刺针到达目标肌肉完成肉毒素注射。

Patients with stroke or brain damage suffer from some degree of muscular spasm. Inadequate healing may slow down the rehabilitation. Botulinum toxin injection has been applied widely for muscular spasm treatment. The localization of spasm muscle is the key to efficient treatment.This paper presents a novel three dimensional ultrasound image guided botulinum toxin injection system. The system employed a common two dimensional ultrasound scanner to build a three dimensional ultrasound imaging system. Based on muscle visualization and optical positioning, a injector is guided into the target muscle. Experiments verified the accuracy and validation. The experiment results suggest that the proposed system could guided the injector into the target muscle for botulinum toxin injection.
