his paper to discuss the development methods of Chinese herbal formula preparation. Firstly, these works should abide by the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, then we should understand the characteristic of Chinese Herbal Formula and the key of developing Chinese herbal formula preparation. Thus, the development Chinese herbal formula preparation is a system engineering, should abide by the science, reasonable and feasibility.
