Medicine is a science theory system of studying the essence of man’s life phenomena and disease processes. Medicine only has one model. The research objects of both traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine are the disease processes of human being. Diseases and syndromes are both the recognition to the man’s disease processes. So they must have innate connection in essence. According to modern science theory, the article discussed the principle of one medicine model and unifying principle between diseases and syndromes. To correctively understand and recognize the basic principles has great significance for the research of integrated traditional Chinese Medicine and Modern medicine.
