一种简化型Re-ECN机制的设计与仿真实现

Re-inserted ECN(Re-ECN)提出将TCP/IP扩展以使得网络路径上的路由器可以评估拥塞等级,它拓展ECN机制并将获得的反馈的拥塞信息重新注入到网络中。Re-ECN是一种拥塞暴露机制,目前,已被纳入IETF ConEx 工作组标准化工作中,是当前研究的热点。本论文设计了一种简化型的Re-ECN协议,在符合Re-ECN框架的前提下,去除了一些复杂而未被肯定的部件,设计了简化型的协议流程,在Exata2.2仿真平台上实现了该简化型的Re-ECN协议,最后做了相关的功能验证,验证结果达到了预期的效果。
Re-inserted ECN (Re-ECN) is a proposed TCP/IP extension that informs the routers on a path about the estimated level of congestion. The Re-ECN protocol extends the Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) mechanism and reinserts the obtained feedback into the network. It is a kind of congestion exposure mechanism which is bing discussed in the IETF heatedly. This paper studies the Re-ECN mechanism before designs a simplified version Re-ECN protocol. In line with the framework of the Re-ECN, this protocol eliminates the parts that are complex and not approved of. This article implements the protocol in Exata2.2 simulation platform and finally does the functional test. The validation results achieved the expected results.
