两面针及其四种常见伪品的药理作用研究进展

Zanthoxyli radix is the dried root of Zanthoxylum nitidum (Roxb.) DC., which has been widely used in south China. The herbal has actions of promoting the flow of qi to relieve pain, eliminating blood stasis, dispelling wind and promoting blood circulation. Because of the marked pharmacological activity, the clinical usage of Zanthoxyli radix has been increasing year by year, which resulted in gradually decline of the wild plant resources. Many adulterants present in Zanthoxyli radix materials market. To identify the common adulterants, we reviewed the literatures relevant to pharmacological research of Zanthoxyli radix and its four common adulterants in past ten years, which will serve as the basis of reference for rational clinical use and marketing normalization of herbal Zanthoxyli Radix.
