不同海拔梯度下椭圆叶花锚种子的萌发对策
Seed germination strategy of Halenia elliptica D.Don in different altitude
植物种子萌发在幼苗的建植、植株个体发育以及群落构建中起到至关重要的作用,而大多数一年生植物只能靠种子进行种族延续,并且一个世代只有一次繁殖机会,因此研究分布于不同海拔梯度下同一物种种子的萌发规律可以探明物种在不同环境下的生存对策。本文研究了青藏高原6个不同海拔的椭圆叶花锚(Halenia elliptica D.Don)种子的萌发情况,结果表明:1.椭圆叶花锚种子的萌发率与海拔显著正相关,椭圆叶花锚种子的萌发率总体上较低,处于最高海拔的种子萌发率最大,为74.94%,处于最低海拔的种子具有最低的萌发率,为5.49%。2.整个海拔梯度上,椭圆叶花锚种子萌发启动时间都较长,萌发不连续,萌发持续时间较长且萌发比较缓慢。随着海拔升高,椭圆叶花锚种子的萌发时滞减小,萌发速度降低,萌发持续的时间增大,椭圆叶花锚种子的这些萌发特性显示了其适应复杂多变的青藏高原环境的生存对策。
Seed germination is a crucial stage for seedling recrument,individual development and community construction.Most annual plants can only rely on the seeds to continue race,and there is only one chance for reproduction.So studies on the germination of the seeds from one single species in different altitude gradients can understand the survival strategies for species under different environments.The seeds of Halenia elliptica D.Don from 6 different altitudinal ranges in Qinghai Tibet Plateau were studied.The results showed:(1)There was significant positive correlation between germination percentage and altitude.On the whole,the seed of Halenia elliptica D.Don had low germination percentage.Seeds from higher altitudes displayed higher germination percentages.The highest altitude had the highest germination percentage which was 74.94%, and the lowest altitude had the lowest germination percentage which was 5.49%.(2) Along altitude gradient,the days to first germinate was usually long,the seed germinated discontinuously,germination period was relatively long and their germinate speeds were slow.With altitude increasing,the days to first germinate reduced,germinate rate behaviored slower and germination period increased.The germination characteristics showed that the survival strategy had adapted to the complex and changeable Qinghai Tibet Plateau.
