Research on stimulated Raman scattering of BaWO4 single crystal*

In this paper, BaWO4 single crystal has been grown by mean of the Czochralski method. The stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) spectrum of crystal was measured, and the formation of Raman facula was discussed. Nine Raman emission peaks were observed and assigned. The threshold of first Stokes and second Stokes were measured are 3.5mJ and 6.5mJ respectively. The damage threshold is above 20GW/cm2.
