his paper introduces how to analyze the performance of a radio network planning software for CDMA, in order to direct the network construction with this kind of software. The network performance analyzing plays an important role in the whole process of network planning. It combined by the basic simulation method and the indexes of coverage prediction (including the meaning, algorithm and way of using them). The theory is applied in many radio network planning softwares, and they have satisfied the needs of practical network planning.
