对分课堂:大学课堂教学模式的一个新探索

针对近年来我国高校教学质量降低问题,本文提出一个名为"对分课堂"的大学课堂教学新模式。该模式的核心理念是把一半课堂时间分配给老师进行讲授,另一半时间分配给学生进行交互式学习,并把讲授和交互式学习在时间上分隔开来,让学生在两个过程之间进行个性化的内化吸收。在本科和硕士两个层次的班级中应用该模式进行了试点教学,结果表明,对分课堂有效增强了学生学习主动性,教学效果良好。与翻转课堂、慕课等模式相比,对分课堂具有一些独特的优点,值得进一步尝试。

o address recent teaching quality reduction in higher education institutions in China, a new model for classroom teaching is proposed, referred to as the PAD (presentation-assimilation-discussion) class. The key idea of this model is to allocate half of the class time for teacher's presentation and the other half for students' interactive learning primarily in the form of discussion. The presentation and discussion stage is separated in time so that students can have time for individualized internal assimilation in between. Testing the new model in two classes, one undergraduate class and one graduate class, indicates that the PAD class enhances students' active learning producing good learning effects. Compared with flipped classroom and MOOC, the PAD class is argued has some unique strengths and should be further experimented.
