本文介绍了TI 公司的DM6446双核处理器的硬件平台及软件架构,利用Davinci技术的Codec Engine机制实现ARM端和DSP端的交互,在该嵌入式平台上实现了基于卡口应用的车牌定位算法。重点阐述了车牌定位算法移植过程中算法修改和xDM标准的算法接口设计,并根据DSP的特点对算法进行了C语言级优化,实现了车牌的快速准确定位,满足实时性要求。

his paper introduces the hardware and software architecture of TI DM6446 dual core processor. The communication between ARM and DSP has been realized by Codec Engine of Davinci Technology, and then the license plate location algorithm has been implemented based on this embedded system. In this paper, the modification of the code and the interface of xDM standard are mainly discussed. Based on the features of DSP, The license plate location algorithm has been optimized from the aspect of C language. The results demonstrate that the algorithm can achieve the location of license plate quickly and accurately, which can meet the real-time requirements of the applications.
