语义Web服务匹配中的概念相似度算法

Similarity degree measuring based on ontology is the key to automated matchmaking of semantic web services. In this paper we explore the determination of semantic similarity between two ontology concepts from several aspects: property relationship, inheritance relationship especially multi-inheritance among concepts, and the impact of the concept’s depth to similarity degree. We defined a weight distribution approach to measure the semantic distance of two concepts, according to which we present a math formula to compute the similarity degree. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed algorithm outperforms traditional similarity measures and accords with field experts’ anticipated results.
