指势交互用户对象识别

采用指势进行人机交互,可充分发挥人类日常技能,摆脱常规输入设备束缚.其关键是如何从复杂的动态人机交互场景中有效提取指势用户对象.论文提出了基于时/空运动特征的指势用户对象识别新方法.利用多尺度小波变换在时/空域所具有的优异局部化特性,从复杂场景中提取前景运动对象,克服环境条件约束以及动态环境变化及先验假设等不足.并基于指势行为特征,利用运动变化特性,统计其在一定方向范围内的累积运动帧数,从提取的前景运动对象中进行指势行为动作检测.采用多尺度变化的梯度积分图方法快速获取稳定可靠的指势手部HOG特征向量,利用机器学习方法对指势手部HOG特征分类学习,结合指势手与指势用户对象的空间关联性,提取指势用户对象.通过实验对比,结果表明所提方法有效、可行.?????

he daily ability of human being can be fully exerted to get rid of bondage of current routine input devices if hand pointing gesture is selected as one of human computer interaction (HCI) models. A key problem is how to extract efficiently pointing object from clutter dynamic circumstance. A novel approach to recognizing the pointing object is developed based on spatial-temporal motion features in this paper. Multi-scale wavelet transform with some outstanding local characteristics both in temporal and spatial fields is adopted to extract foreground motion objects from a clutter scene, which overcomes some deficiencies in environment conditions, dynamic circumstance variations, prior hypotheses, and so on. According to the characteristics of the pointing behavior, some motion variation states are selected to count the accumulative frames in a certain direction. The action with pointing behavior is detected from the extracted foreground motion objects. Some stable and credible HOG vectors in the pointing hand are fast gotten based on gradient integral map with multiple scale variations. Machine learning method is used to classify and train the HOG vectors. The object with pointing gesture is extracted according to spatial relevance of the pointing hand to the object with pointing gesture. Experiment results have shown that the proposal is efficient and feasible.
