基于GIS的公共图书馆总分馆城市空间分布和地理覆盖研究

Purpose/significance] The spatial distribution and geographic coverage of the main-branch public libraries is of great significance for realizing the full coverage and equalization of public libraries.[Method/process] Based on the interpretation of "full coverage" and "equalization" of the spatial distribution and geographic coverage of main branch public libraries, GIS as a tool was used to calculate and analyze the spatial distribution and geographic coverage of main-branch public libraries of Suzhou to help planning the layout of the future main-branch system.[Result/conclusion] By measuring the dynamic service load and service radius of the main-branch public libraries can effectively reveal the blind spots of the layout of main-branch public libraries, determine the priority construction and development areas, further narrow the differences between the regions, and set the urban coverage standards. It is also necessary to combine the quantitative characteristics and demand characteristics of service objects according to local conditions to achieve scientific layout and precise services, and improve the overall efficiency of the main-branch public library system.
