he dissertation explores the technology and methods of the rural residence planning based on correlative planning theories, rural construction theories and practice home and abroad. The study mainly includes the components of the rural residence, related key indicators, designing size, distributing of the residential on the whole. After the above, the author takes the example to explain. First, expound the current status of residential area construction of Yicheng; next, summarize major problems; finally, chooses two villages to explain the approaches and methods of residential area planning vividly.
