活性糖原合酶激酶-3β在鼻息肉组织中的表达

Purpose: To compare the distribution and expression of glycogen synthase kinase-3beta （GSK-3β）and phosphorylated glycogen synthase kinase-3beta (p-GSK-3β, at Ser9) in normal nasal mucosa, inflammatory nasal mucosa and further the evaluate the activity of GSK3 beta in Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).Methods:Nasal polyps and uncinate process were collected from 31 CRSwNP patients, 13 CRSsNP patients and 15 healthy control with nasal septal deviation. The expression of p-GSK-3β (at Ser9) and total GSK-3β was detected by immunohistochemical (IHC) staining and Western blot. SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results:The IHC showed total GSK-3β was mainly distributed in the epithelial layer, submucosal glands and inflammatory cells in nasal tissues. Interestingly, the protein expression of total GSK-3β was increased in polyps tissues(P=0.005). The protein expression of p-GSK-3β (at Ser9) was significantly decreased in polyps tissues, especially in the epithelial layer, submucosal glands(P<0.0001). Conclusion:Activity of GSK-3β was increased in nasal polyps, indicating inhibition of GSK-3β may be a new clue for the treatment of nasal polyps.
