he Effects of Water in Sol-Gel Process for Synthesizing Nano-ferrite MnFe2O4 with Egg White
本文研究了以蛋清为络合剂采用溶胶-凝胶法合成尖晶石铁氧体MnFe2O4过程中水对产物形貌和磁性的影响。通过XRD,SEM,VSM对样品的结构形貌和磁性进行了研究。发现MnFe2O4的形貌由加水条件下的细小颗粒变为无水条件下的孔状大颗粒。这是由于水的加入改变了金属离子的扩散速率,从而影响了金属离子的配合和溶解能力。另外,水的加入导致了蛋白质大分子的水解也破坏了蛋白质和金属离子组成的空间结构。水也很明显的影响了MnFe2O4的磁性,加入水后饱和磁化强度和剩磁都增加了大约两倍。
he effects of water on the morphology and magnetic properties are studied in a sol-gel process for synthesizing spinel ferrite MnFe2O4 with egg white. The characterizations of samples are tested by XRD, SEM and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The morphology of MnFe2O4 changes from uniform ultrafine particles (with water) to porous particles (without water). This can be ascribed to the diffusion ratio of metal ion varying with the amount of water, which affects the capability of ligand and solvent. In addition, hydrolysis of protein macromolecules damages the spatial structure constituted of metal ions and protein. The magnetic properties are clearly affected by the addition of water. Saturation magnetization and remanence magnetization increase by more than two times.
