重配置环境下CPC的研究与仿真
RESEARCH ON CPC AND CAPABILITY SIMULATION IN HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS
随着全球化进程深入到人类生活的各个领域,通信界正在经历一个巨大的变革,使其能够满足不断增长的用户需求。在异构的无线网络环境背景下,无线终端能够选择一个最佳的无线接入点以一种最合适的无线接入技术接入网络是十分必要的。E2R工程研究的是在B3G背景下,资源和功能在用户终端和网络间的最佳配置。最近,随着E2R项目的深入,产生了CPC(Cognitive Pilot Channel感知导频信道)这样一个新的概念。CPC可以理解为网络选择过程中的一个辅助手段。用户通过CPC获得网络的存在信息,并联合网络完成网络选择的整个过程。鉴于CPC与网络选择有着密不可分的联系,这篇论文中还将介绍可以用于网络选择中的数学算法。
As globalization penetrates in all fields of human initiative, the world of telecommunications is currently undergoing some radical changes, in order to meet the continuously increasing user demands. In the context of heterogeneous radio network environment, it is necessary for reconfigurable radio terminals to be able to initiate a new user session to set the conditions allowing a connection to the most suitable access point of the most appropriate Radio Access Technology (RAT). The E2R project is pursing research on the definition of the most appropriate distribution of intelligence and functionalities between end-users terminals and network, in the context of B3G heterogeneous environment. E2R is currently developing concepts and solutions for a Cognitive Pilot Channel (CPC), encompassing both in-band/out-band and downlink/uplink functionalities. CPC could be understood as an assistant method in the process of network selection. Users get network information through CPC and complete the whole selection process with networks. Due to the relationship between CPC and network selection, this paper will also introduce some algorithms that could be used in the network selection.
