随着高效编码技术的发展，物理层的传输已经可以接近信道容量。在这个情况下，信道容量的分析成为通信系统研究过程中的非常重要参数。有限星座下的信道容量没有闭式解，目前通常使用数值方法估算。本文提出了一些近似公式，用于加性高斯信道条件下，接收机具有完善的信道信息时，计算常用的信号星座的信道容量。这些公式具有简洁的闭式形式，仿真结果表明他们具有很好的精度。
hannel capacity has important role in the analysis and design of the communication systems. Unfortunately, for the commonly used one- or two-dimensional modulation constellations, there is no closed form formula to calculate such capacity. In this paper, some simple approximation formulas are presented for evaluating the symmetric capacity of the commonly used constellations under additive white Gaussian noise channel with perfect channel state information at receiver.
