使用2001-2016年全国276个地级及以上城市的数据,构建双重差分(DID)模型,分析高铁开通对旅游业以及工业的差异化影响。实证结果表明,城市高铁开通有效带动城市旅游经济指标的提升。但这种影响效应具有地区差异性,对于旅游资源丰富的城市有显著的促进作用,而对于旅游资源匮乏城市的旅游业发展可能有一定负面影响。替换旅游资源禀赋变量以及排除2008年之前的样本后,研究结论依然稳健。进一步的分析表明,由高铁推动的旅游业增长可能会对旅游型城市的工业发展造成一定的冲击。

his paper conduct a DID model to analyze the impact of high-speed rail opening on tourism and industrial differentiation,using data of 276 prefecture cities in China from 2001 to 2016.The results show that the opening of high-speed railway effectively boosts tourism. High-speed rail contributes to cities with rich tourism resources, while for cities with insufficient tourism resources, high-speed rail has a negative impact on tourism.The robustness checks of changing model specification and sample range,replacing dependent variable come to the same conclusion. However tourism growth driven by high-speed rail may lead to de-industrialization for tourism cities.
