西双版纳地区降雨、食物资源可获得程度对犬蝠（ Cynopterus sphinx)分娩时机的影响

nimal reproductive activities are the trade-off between different natural selection pressure and their physiological limitation. Many abiotic factors including climate (temperature, photoperiod and rainfall) and abundance of plant species affect the reproductive activities of bats. We studied the effect of rainfall and the degree of food availability on the parturition timing of Cynopterus sphinx by food resource investigation, erecting nets and marking-recapturing bats in Xishuangbanna. We found Along with average precipitation gradually increased from March to August (19.82- 41.13 kg/m2), plant species feed on by bat were increased (4-9) at the same time. The degree of food availability was weakly positive correlation with precipitation (r = 0.64, P = 0.18). The number of captured sub-adult bat was positively correlate with the degree of food availability significantly (r = 0.94, P = 0.01). Although having the capacity of polyestrous and parturition twice a year, most of them were monoestrous and parturition which concentrated from March to May. The parturition timing made the time for flying out and predation of sub-adults encountered the peak availability of fruit resource which benefits improving survival fitness of sub-adults.
