OA Estimation of Wideband Sources Based on Phase Mode Excitation of the Uniform Circular Array

基于均匀圆阵(UCA)提出了一种宽带信号测向新方法。该方法首先将阵元空间数据变换为圆阵模式空间数据,使宽带信号有效带宽内各频点上的数据满足虚拟均匀线阵(VULA)模型,然后利用双边聚集变换(TCT)消除VULA阵列流形中的频率依赖性并进行能量积累,最终实现宽带信号测向。计算机仿真表明了新方法的有效性。

In order to estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) of wideband sources, a new algorithm is proposed based on phase mode excitation of the uniform circular array(UCA) and TCT focusing technique. In the proposed method, data got from UCA is first transferred into phase-mode space where the ULA manifold structure can be utilized. Then TCT focusing technique is used to eliminate the manifold’s dependence on frequencies of wideband sources, and DOAs of wideband sources can be estimated from focused data model by conventional DOA method finally. The simulation results indicate the efficacy of the proposed method.
