发光杆菌中新型双元毒素对根结线虫活性测定
Nematicidal activity of novel binary toxin from Photorhabuds luminescens
发光杆菌是一种兼性厌氧的肠杆菌科细菌,存在于侵染期线虫肠道内,随线虫侵入寄主昆虫而进入昆虫血腔,产生毒素使昆虫患败血症死亡。随着发光杆菌基因组测序的完成,从该类细菌中重要功能蛋白的研究越来越受到关注。本研究测定了来自发光杆菌的一对新型双元毒素Plu1961和Plu1962对根结线虫活性。研究结果表明两种毒素对根结线虫二龄幼虫均具有较好的活性,而且当双元毒素一起作用于线虫时具有更好的杀线虫活力,明显优于单独作用于线虫。该研究结果为线虫生物防治提供了新途径,为开发新的线虫生防制剂提供了新来源。
Photorhabuds luminescens is a facultative anaerobic bacteria belonging to the family of Enterobacteriaceae. Upon entering an insect host, nematodes release the bacteria by regurgitation directly into the insect's hemocoel. The bacteria kill the insect host by producing a number of toxins. With the completion of the genome sequencing, various functional proteins have been identified and characterized from P. luminescens. New binary toxins Plu1961 and Plu1962 were identified from this bacterial. In this study, the nematicidal activities of the binary toxins against Meloidogyne spp. were assayed. The data showed that all the two toxin shows obvious activity two second-stage juvenile, and the combination of the two toxin showed more high toxicity, which suggested that the binary toxins exhibit obviously synergetic activity. The results provided a new way for the biological control of nematodes, supplied a new source for the development of new biological control agents.
