环氧沥青粘结剂的固化行为和性能研究

环氧树脂作为沥青的改性剂来制备环氧沥青粘结剂。利用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)、动态热机械分析(DMA)、万能材料试验机和布氏旋转粘度计研究了环氧沥青粘结剂的等温和非等温固化反应、玻璃化转变温度(Tg)、阻尼行为、力学性能和粘温特性。DSC实验结果表明,环氧沥青粘结剂等温固化时固化反应属于自催化反应,沥青的添加,大大地降低了环氧树脂的固化热。环氧沥青粘结剂固化后只有一个Tg,说明环氧树脂和沥青有很好的相容性,并且这一Tg要远高于纯沥青的Tg。DMA研究结果表明,固化后的环氧沥青粘结剂除了具有明显的玻璃化转变外,在低温处还存在一个次级转变,所对应的是受束缚沥青的玻璃化温度。另外,环氧沥青粘结剂还具有优异的阻尼行为。力学性能研究表明,环氧沥青粘结剂具有很高的拉伸强度和韧性,沥青是较好环氧树脂增韧剂。粘度实验结果表明,环氧沥青粘结剂固化过程中的粘度变化达到实际应用的要求。

Epoxy asphalt adhesives was prepared with epoxy modified asphalt. The isothermal and dynamic cure reactions, glass transition temperature(Tg), damping properties, mechanical properties and viscosity of epoxy asphalts were investigated by using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), universal material tester and Brookfield viscometer. The results of DSC showed that the cure reaction of epoxy asphalt adhesive belongs to auto-catalytic reactions. The addition of asphalt greatly decreased the heat of curing of epoxy. Epoxy asphalt adhesive showed a single Tg, which indicated that good compatibility between epoxy and asphalt. The Tg of epoxy asphalt adhesive was higher than that of neat aspahlt. DMA results showed that epoxy aphalt adhesive had an obvious Tg. There existed a secondary transion at lower temperature. Furthermore, epoxy asphalt adhesive showed good damping properties. The results of mechanical properties showed that epoxy asphalt adhesive had excellent tensile strength and toughness. The results of viscosity showed that the changes of viscosity during the curing of epoxy asphalt adhesive accorded with the requirement of actual application.
