本研究选择流经敦煌莫高窟前的一条小河流为研究对象,通过对径流量、蒸发量、空气温湿度监测,分析了该河流在莫高窟南断面24小时径流量变化与气象要素之间的关系,发现径流曲线呈 “S”型,强烈的蒸发作用是导致径流量显著变化的根本原因,由此造成的径流量损失占一天内总径流量的24%~37%。了解这种自然规律不仅对解释干旱内陆河流域水分循环具有重要的理论意义,而且对合理开发利用水资源、减少无效蒸发量具有实际应用价值。

small river named Daquan river flowing by Mogao Grottoes was selected as the researching object of this study. Based on the monitoring of runoff, evaporation capacity and air temperature and humidity, the relationship between the twenty-four-hour runoff variation of the south Mogao Grottoes cross section of this river and meteorological elements was analyzed in this paper. It was found that the runoff variation curve was “S” in shape, strong evaporation was the root cause of the significant runoff variation, and runoff loss due to strong evaporation accounted for 24%~37% of the gross diurnal runoff. Understanding this natural law not only has great significance in explaining the hydrological cycle of inland river basin in arid area, but also has practical application value in rational exploitation and utilization of water resources and reducing useless evaporation.
