Outcome-based education (OBE) is a new type of education model based on learning outcome. It is student-centered, and pays attention to the ability and achievement of students. The OBE education mode is introduced into the teaching of physiology course in pharmaceutical majors. According to the training objectives and graduation requirements of the majors, the teaching objectives of the course are defined, the teaching process is designed, the problem-driven case teaching is introduced, the learning results, learning strategies and scoring standards are refined, the teaching process is reflected according to the achievement and evaluation of learning objectives, so as to continuously improve the teaching effect and talents cultivation quality.
