补阳还五汤对大鼠局灶性脑缺血后Notch1表达的影响

Objective:To investigate the Effects of Buyang Huanwu decoction on expression of notchi after focal cerebral ischemia in Rat. Methods: Brain ischemia was induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion, Animals were individed into 3 groups including sham operated group, model group, Buyang Huanwu decoction group ,and executed at 3, 7or 14day point after middle cerebral artery occlusion. Notch1 were measured by immunohistochemical staining and PCR. Results: There was low-level expression of notch1 in normal brain. After ischemic, expression of notch1 was increased. There were signicant difference not in number of notch1-positive cell but also in level of notch1 mRNA between model group and Buyang Huanwu decoction group at 7 and 14 day. Conclusion: Buyang Huanwu decoction can promote expression of notch1 in ischemia brain, that is a possible anti-ischemic mechanism.
