导轮结构形式对液力变矩器性能的影响

Effects of Width of Stator on Hydraulic Performances of an Torque Converter

由于空间有限,轿车液力变矩器向着减小轴向尺寸的方向发展。导轮宽度对于减小液力变矩器的轴向尺寸有着重要意义。为研究导轮宽度轴向尺寸对轿车液力变矩器性能的影响,设计了两个分别具有宽、窄导轮结构的液力变矩器。利用CFD软件对其内部流场进行数值模拟,得到液力变矩器内部三维流动的分布情况和外部性能。通过对宽、窄两种导轮结构形式液力变矩器内部流动和外部性能的对比,得到导轮轴向宽度对内部流动和外部性能的影响。

utomotive torque converters have been designed with a smaller axial size bacause of the space restriction.The width of the stator has a significant effect to shorten the axial lengeh of a torque converter.Two torque converters are designed to investigate the effects of the width of stator. Computational analysis with three dimendional CFD software shows the internal flow field of the torque converter,also the performance. The effectes of the width of the stator to inner flow field are got by analyzing the CFD results. By comparing with the performance of torque converters,the influence rules of the width of the stator are found out.
