青藏高原北缘的隆升时期:来自阿尔金山和柴达木盆地的证据
Uplift time of the northern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau: The evidences from the Altyn Mountains and Qaidam Basin
柴达木盆地西部的中新世上、下油山组的沉积特征及其地震反射界面的特征揭示了阿尔金山的主隆升时期为中晚中新世,山体的隆升导致盆地沉积中心向东迁移。盆地周缘山系的隆升年代学资料也表明,青藏高原北部在中晚中新世整体抬升,与青藏高原南部的同期的区域构造事件是一致的,进一步表明中晚中新世是青藏高原向北生长的重要时期。阿尔金山此次隆升事件与塔里木板块向柴达木地块楔入有关,整个高原的隆升动力源自印度板块与欧亚大陆拼合后持续向北的俯冲,与喜马拉雅山前主边界断层的形成密切相关。
he analysis of sedimentary characteristics of Shangyoushashan and Xiayouyashan Formations and the features of seismic reflection in the western Qaidam basin suggest that the Altyn Mountains were uplifted during the Mid-Late Miocene, which resulted in an eastward transferring of the basin depocenter. Uplifting chronological data from the surrounding mountains also indicate that the uplifting of the north Qinghai-Xizang Plateauwas coincident with the regional tectonic events of the south Qinghai-Xizang Plateau during the Mid-Late Miocene. Additionally,it demonstrates that the Mid-Late Miocene is the important period that the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau grew towards the north. The uplift event of the Altyn Mountains was related to the wedging of the Tarim Plate underneath the Qaidam Plate directly. The plateau uplifting dynamic was derived from the India Plate continuing subduction towards the north after its collision with Eurasia continent. The process was closely related to the formation of the Main Boundary Fault in front of the Himalaya.
