he Planning and optimizing method of WDM networks
近年来,随着网络技术的发展以及新的Internet应用的出现,全球Internet业务呈现出一种爆炸式增长的趋势,由此对传输网络的带宽提出了越来越高的要求。光纤传输技术的发展使网络传输带宽不断增长,特别是波分复用(WDM)技术的引入使电信运营商可以把他们的网络容量提高数十倍。新技术的使用为网络设计和规划提出新的课题,本文主要讨论骨干WDM传送网的规划优化方法及网络规划中的生存性问题。
Recently, with the development of networking technologies and new services of Internet, there is an explosive growth trend of Internet traffic, which needs tremendous network bandwidth. The advances in optical fiber transmission technology over the past years have kept pace with the demand for increased bandwidth. In particular the introduction of the WDM technology enables Telecom Operators to upgrade the capacity of their networks by an order of magnitude. Some new designing and planning problems of optical networks are brought up with the use of new technologies. In this paper, we discussed the planning and optimizing methods of the core WDM transport networks and the network survivability in network planning.
