本文给出了两种不同的汽车主动转向机构(AFS)的设计。两种机构的主要设计思路都在于利用差动轮系通过增加输入自由度,实现两个输入(方向盘、电机输入),一个输出(AFS系统输出)的功能,进而能够根据ECU计算的理想传动比连续改变传动比。两种方案都能保证在电动机失效后,整个AFS机构的传动比固定为1:1,无需对现有车辆转向机构的其他部分进行改动。

In this paper, two different kinds of Active Front Steering (AFS) mechanism are discussed. The concepts of two design options are both to use differential gears to increase the degree of freedom, so the function of two input (input of the steering wheel and the electric motor), one output (output of the AFS system ) can be achieved. Then the transmission ratio can be changed according to the result of the ECU. Two design options can both guarantee the transmission ratio be fixed at 1:1 after the failure of the electric motor, and other parts of the existing steering mechanism do not need to be changed.
