方形光子晶体光纤光栅传感特性研究

Research on sensing characteristics of square photonic crystal fiber grating

基于阶跃型光纤单模传输理论,分析方形光子晶体光纤光栅中光波模式谐振特性。结合耦合模理论,利用传输矩阵法,研究了光栅基模的反射光谱特性,得出其对应的谐振中心波长为1558.75nm。重点分析该结构在单模情况下,外界温度、应力、及温度/应力交叉作用时谐振中心波长的移动情况,得出较高精度的温度灵敏度(0.011806nm/ )和应力灵敏度(0.01226nm/u ),并且发现温度传感特性受到光纤基模的有效折射率影响较大,应力传感特性则受光栅周期影响更大。

ccording to the transmission theory of step-index single-mode optical fiber, the text analysis square photonic crystal fiber grating mode resonant characteristics. The reflection spectra of this photonic crystal fiber grating (PCFBG) were computed and simulated by coupled-mode method and transmission matrix method. The simulation result of its fundamental mode resonant wavelength is 1558.75nm. It focuses on the structure in the single-mode, the movement of resonance center wavelength in different outside conditions like temperature sensing, stress sensing, and temperature / stress sensing,the result draws a high accuracy temperature sensitivity (0.011806nm/ ) and stress sensitivity (0.01226nm/u ),the effective refractive index of fundamental mode has a greater influence on temperature sensing characteristics and the grating period is the same on stress sensing characteristics.
