右手传输线是传统意义上的传输线,根据对偶原理,将右手传输线等效电路模型中的串连阻抗和并联导纳相互交换后就得到了左手传输线。复合左右手传输线(Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line, 以下简称CRLH TL)是同时包含左手成分和右手成分的传输线。平衡的CRLH 传输线通带很宽且损耗较小,本文即是利用平衡的CRLH传输线来设计一个X波段的滤波器和一个X波段的耦合器。

Left-handed transmission line can be obtained by exchanging the series impedance and shunt admittance in the equivalent circuit model of traditional right-handed transmission line. Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line(CRLH TL) contains both left-handed and right-handed components. Balanced CRLH TL has advantages of wide passband and small loss. A microwave filter and coupler in X-band are designed based on the balanced CRLH TL.
