视频传输系统中的视频发送速率控制是保证视频质量的最重要因素之一,也是保证视频网络服务质量的关键。多模无线网络由于网络传输方案的多样性也得到越来越广泛的应用。本文基于多模无线网络设计和实现了一个速率可控的视频传输系统,该系统根据多模无线网络中的网络参数对视频发送速率进行动态调整,能够在保证UDP连接与TCP连接公平共享网络带宽的基础上,来减少视频数据丢包率以及减轻该网络的拥塞程度。

Rate control of video transmission system is one of the most important factors to ensure the video quality, and also is the key to ensure the quality of video network services. Multi-mode wireless networks have been more widely used due to the diversity of network transmission scheme. In this paper, the design and implementation of a rate-controlled video transmission system based on a fair share multimode wireless network is described. In this system, by dynamically adjusting the video transmission rate by the network parameters of the multi-mode wireless networks, it is able to ensure UDP connection and TCP connection based on the fair sharing of network bandwidth, and able to reduce the loss rate of video data packets and the congestion degree of the network.
