Study on the Flowering of Hippeastrum Vittatum

朱顶红是石蒜科朱顶红属多年生草本植物,花形优美,色彩艳丽。本实验观察了朱顶红开花过程中雌、雄蕊的动态变化,并测定湿度对花药开裂的影响。结果表明:朱顶红在开花过程中雌雄蕊异熟,雄、雌蕊长度和相对位置发生变化,通过雌雄异熟现象所造成的时间差,以及二者相对错位造成的空间差,使花粉不会落到同一朵花的柱头上,有效避免自花传粉的发生,保证异花传粉的实现。朱顶红6枚花药次第开裂,延长了散粉时间,有助提高授粉几率。花药以丁着药形式着生,纵裂并发生花药囊壁缩短现象,花药长度从17 mm缩短至5 mm,历时约9 h;同一朵花上,内轮花药囊壁缩短的速度较外轮快约2 h。高湿度(90±5 %RH)延迟花药开裂,花药缩短的平均持续时间相比低湿度(75±5 %RH)延长约7 h。该研究结果为传粉生物学研究提供基础资料。

Hippeastrum vittatum is Amaryllidaceae genus Hippeastrum perennial herb with beautiful flower and bright color. The experiment observed the dynamic changes of pistil and stamen during the flowering , and determined the effect of humidity on anther dehiscence. The experimental result showed that the stamen of Hippeastrum vittatum matured earlierly than the pistil during the flowering. The stamen and pistil's length and relative position were changed. In order to avoid the self-pollination and ensure the cross-pollination, it caused the time difference by dichogamous phenomenon and caused the space difference by relative dislocation, therefore, the pollen didn't fall into the same flower stigma. The six anthers dehisced one by one can effectively extend the time of releasing pollen and improve the rate of pollination. The anther was versatile anther and they dehisced in verticaland,and the anther wall shortened from 17 mm to 5 mm when it began dehiscence,which taking 9 hours. In the same flower, the inner anther wall shortened faster than the outer's about 2 hours. The high humidity(90±5 %RH)will delay the time of anther dehiscence, and its average duration of anther wall shortened were longer than the low humidity,s(75±5 %RH)about 7 hours. The study aimed to supply basic theory for plant pollination biology.
