负折射介质中脉冲的非线性传输方程
Equation for Nonlinear Propagation of Pulse in Negative Refraction-Index Materials
基于Maxwell方程组研究了非线性色散电磁介质中脉冲的传输,得到了脉冲的非线性传输方程。利用Drude色散模型和慢演化波近似进一步得到了负折射介质中脉冲传输遵循的非线性包络方程,基于这个方程分析了脉冲中心频率的变化对群速度、群速度色散系数、非线性系数和自陡峭系数的影响。
he propagation of pulse in nonlinear dispersive electromagnetic materials is studied and the corresponding nonlinear propagation equation is deduced from Maxwell equations. Further more, with the use of the Drude dispersive model and the slowly-evolving-wave approximation, the envelope equation which the propagation of pulse in negative refraction-index materials follows is studied. On the basis of this equation, the influence of the variation of the center frequency of the pulse on the group velocity, group velocity dispersion, nonlinear coefficient and self-steep coefficient are also investigated.
