平衡多小波及在虹膜图像压缩中的应用
Balanced Multiwavelet and Iris Image Compressing
虹膜识别是目前较为有效的生物识别技术,平衡多小波又是小波理论中的新兴理论,由于避免预滤波的过程而成为图像压缩领域中的热点问题。本文构建了一种新的正交平衡多小波,并将其应用于虹膜图像压缩,通过PSNR值和特征点提取,其结果明显优于GHM和CL小波。
Iris recognition system with high performance and high confidence is now more efficient biometric security techniques. The theory of balanced multiwavelet is a recent generalization of multiwavelet and become a hotspot because of avoiding pre-filtering. In this paper, we presents a new approach on the construction of orthogonal balanced multiwavelet. The experimental result of applying in iris image compressing indicated that it outperforms GHM and CL in terms of peaksignal-to-noise ration and eigenvalue of variance estimator.
