Overlap-Free Automatic Datum Dimensioning Approach in Die & Mould Drawing Based on the Cutting/Packing Strategy

本文提出了基于排样思想的模具零件工程图尺寸防干涉算法,给出了以最小尺寸偏移量为目标,尺寸干涉为约束条件的优化数学模型,该方法在AutoCAD软件中利用VisualLISP得到实现。采用该算法进行模具零件自动标注,实例测试结果表明所提出的算法可以很好地解决尺寸重叠干涉问题。

novel automatic datum dimensioning (or ordinate dimentioning) approach is proposed to address the overlap and intersect issues in the Die & Mould engineering drawing, based on the cutting & packing strategy. The corresponding optimization model is presented with respect of the minimized offset value of the datum dimension as objective, and overlap as the constraints. The proposed algorithm has been implemented by utilizing the programming language, AutoLISP provided by AutoCAD. The practical datum dimensioning cases are given to illustrate the important features of the method. The results indicate that the overlap and intersection issues can be well figured out with the proposed approach.
